StoreSpinner backStage™
is a user-friendly, modular and robust web-based
administrative back-end, which will provide
you with all of the tools necessary to effectively
manage every aspect of your store. The core
components of backStage™ are the inventory
management, customer management, order-processing/logistics
and lead generation/tracking modules.
At the heart of backStage™
is a powerful inventory management system,
which allows you to easily add, remove and
modify items in your product catalog. Employing
an intuitive user interface, the inventory
manager gives you control over the all product
attributes, including weight, pricing (normal
and sale), product imagery, HTML descriptions,
taglines, catalog placement (categorization),
and options (color, size).
Use this module to generate
and send marketing email to your customers,
to create and modify special customer groups
(for discounts and other incentives), and
as a useful customer service tool to track
customer order and account history.
- Order Processing/Logistics
backStage™ provides
all the functionality needed for receiving,
processing, and shipping orders. The order-processing
module tracks an order’s status throughout
its progress from placement to shipment
– and beyond: it will even handle
returns and RMA orders. All important order
attributes are stored with every order,
including shipping/billing information (names,
addresses, phone numbers, emails), payment
information (charges, chargebacks, order
balance), lead information (where the order
came from), and related orders. Furthermore,
all order information can be updated right
from the back-end interface, giving your
customer service staff a powerful tool to
assist customers wishing to create, change,
or cancel orders by phone or email. All
changes to the order are logged to the order
history with a time/date and username stamp.
backStage™ will integrate
with your existing shipping and credit-card
processing systems. It is currently compatible
with UPS and FedEx online shipping/tracking
gateways, and with the Verisign, Cardservice,
and Paymentech merchant gateways, but can
be easily expanded to work with any system
you may have in place.
To spread the word about
your unique product line, backStage™
includes integrated export formats for all
of the major shopping search engines, including
Yahoo! Store, Pricegrabber.com, Bizrate,
DealTime, CNET Shopping, and NexTag.com.
All orders store lead tracking information,
and powerful reporting tools integrated
into backStage? collect this information
into graphical and numerical formats, making
it easy for you to identify which of your
marketing campaigns have proven most successful.
Turn any item in your inventory
into an ebay auction, right from within
the backStage™ application interface.
backStage™ taps directly into the
ebay API, allowing you to track all your
current auctions and analyze your auction
history to fine-tune your ebay marketing
programs. Auction wins are automatically
imported into the backStage™ order
processing module, so you do not have to
manage your ebay order fulfillment and logistics
separately from the rest of your business.
backStage™ even provides a secure
checkout screen that allows your auction
winners to enter their billing and shipping
information right on your site, so your
ebay customers are integrated automatically
into your Customer Management module.
